Last week saw the completion of final testing of interoperability of TIM Professional, the UK's favourite call logging system, with Nortel's latest IP-centric PBX, the BCM-50.
The underlying architecture of the BCM-50 has changed since the 200 and 400 series BCM, and with it, the mechanism we use to connect to it for the purposes of call logging.
Geoff Levy, governor of On-Call Communications in East London - ex-BT, and an industry stalwart in Nortel circles, stress-tested the solution in our brand new PBX testing facility at Wapping.
"Tri-Line have done it again! After approaching the other call logging vendors, and being told the same 'we're working on it' time after time, I approached Tri-Line with my requirements, and they had it done within a couple of days."
The software is available here right away, and complements our support for the Nortel family of PBXs, namely the previous BCM range, Norstar Compact Plus, Meridian (Options 11, 51, 81), the MCS 5100 and 5200, and their carrier-class DMS-100 and Succession 1000 switching gear.
